An American Airlines passenger pees over another passenger ... - Live From A Lounge
I really do not know what it is with people losing control of their bladder and peeing on the plane, but this is the fourth such incident coming to light in the previous six months of passengers using the cabin as their toilet, mostly on their way between the United States and India. While the first such incident was of an Air India passenger in Business Class, there was another incident with Air India right after as well. Recently an American Airlines passenger did the same thing, and now there is one more of these.
American Airlines passenger urinates over another onboard flight to Delhi.
A passenger flying with American Airlines on the New York – Delhi non-stop service, operating as AA292, on Sunday, April 23, 2023, allegedly urinated on a co-passenger and was handed over to law enforcement agencies on arrival in Delhi. The passenger was reportedly inebriated, and got into an argument with a co-passenger and then went on to pee on him.
However, it does not seem like there was a formal complaint filed against him as of writing this article, and hence he has not been arrested so far. The CISF, the agency responsible for the security of the Delhi Airport has handed over the passenger to Delhi Police but seems the Police authorities have not yet received a complaint against him.
As per Delhi Police, legal action has been taken under non-cognizable offences of the Civil Aviation Act. The action was initiated after the complaint given by the Airline's staff about the unruly behaviour of the passenger. There was no corroborating evidence or complaint given by the co-passengers regarding someone peeing on them.
American Airlines issued a statement, where they said,
American Airlines flight 292 (JFK-IGIA) was met by local law enforcement upon arrival in Delhi due to a disruption on board. We're grateful to our crew members who are consistently dedicated to the safety and care of our customers and handled the circumstances with the utmost professionalism.
Just last month, a 20-year-old Delhi student, who was doing his post-graduate studies at an American university allegedly urinated over a business class passenger on American Airlines, on the JFK-DEL route as well. In that case, the airline cancelled the return ticket of the student and barred him from flying American Airlines.
Bottomline
American Airlines has handed over a passenger to Indian law-enforcement, who flew with them on April 23, 2023. The passenger on board the JFK-DEL service allegedly pee'd on another passenger on board the plane. This is the second such incident in the recent past with American Airlines, and the fourth to come to light in the past six months.
What do you think are people up to, with this disgusting act on board aircraft?
